It was Right Turn’s 50th birthday hike. While shoulder season isn’t my favorite, I can’t say no when a hiking buddy turns 50!
I wanted to make sure I stayed with the group, so I only took the following three photos.
I struggled a bit, but overall a good time seemed to have been had by all.

The view itself is a wooded summit, this was near the top. The weather was a bluebird day. It was so much warmer than the forecast, which did turn a little of the snow mushy, but still a great day.
Stats were a little wonky as my app stopped recording at one point, but here we are –
- Distance: 9.2 miles
- Elevation gain: 2,950 feet
- Total time: 7 hours, 39 minutes
- Moving Time: not available
But #20 of the NH 4000 footers!
